Due to popular demand, I have a new post to this blog.
Nothing.
Yes, nothing. I have nothing to say, no pictures to post, no opinions.
A COMPLETE WASTE OF AIR.
That is the blog's name and that is my entry for today.
Ok, just one little teensy weeny thing:
I don't like what this Rick Warren guy did tonight.
See Shirley Buxton's fine blog entry on this.
Politics IN the church is wrong.
The Church is for healing the sick, physically and spiritually, not for finding out what some idiot politician has in mind for the next four years.
There, how's that for a blog post.
I have been very busy. I am now the Program Director of KYKN Radio AM 1430. No more money just a great title!
I am still on the air every morning and on Saturdays as well.
Then when the Salem-Keizer Volcano's are in town I am back to being "Bill the PA Guy". So, it makes for long days.
Looking forward to a great day at Church tomorrow with my Brothers and Sisters in Christ!
amen?

Thanks for updating your "air". I was beginning to worry about your health and well-being.
I'm not sure that I agree with your take on the Saddleback Church debate. I think that we've gotten so used to "hiding it under a bushel" that we've become afraid to lose our non-profit, Section-whatever-faith-based status that churches are afforded. I'd like to be able to see the interviews, so I'll do a little searching on the web. I believe that our "faith" should be mixed w/ our politics. If not, we are sending a clear message that our beliefs should not have an effect upon our thoughts, words or actions.
"Be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Clean in me a clean heart, O God. Behold, he is a new creation." Behaving in a manner inconsistent with our beliefs, clouds our witness. Being bold and forthcoming about our beliefs should be the standard, not the exception. If you've found a link where the debate is streamed, I'd appreciate it.
Mick, my problem is: I agree with you 99%, I just don't want to see this in the Church. I don't believe the Church was designed by God in His great plan for this purpose.
Go to Ephesians 3:10. Read it carefully, it just recently opened my eyes to what the Church was really intended for. Amazing verse.
Mick,
We record it. Bob and Marlene have the old fashion VCR tape.
