Pro-Life, Free Speech and Violence: Can't we all just get along?

WARNING: THIS VIDEO DOES FEATURE VERY GRAPHIC LANGUAGE BUT IT IS VERY IMPORTANT TO WATCH!!

I always thought liberals were all about "free speech"? Of course they are! When it suits them.
Here we have a group of Pro-Life folks standing outside of a Fresno, California abortion clinic and they have the audacity of praying for the people inside and those coming from the outside. They set up a camera to film the 40 days they are doing this vigil. No signs, no dead baby pics, just prayer. Well, here is what the "progressive" left does when those they don't agree with, don't play their game.

Sickening ain't it?

Ah - More "love & support" from the culture of death. Violence only begets violence. How feminine of her - not.

I'm confused as to how ONE incident with ONE woman is now considered the "progressive left" movement. This lady was obviously not right in the head so I don't know how I, falling on the side of no government involvement in a woman's right to choose to abort a baby--we'll call it PRO CHOICE if you would rather, would get lumped in to that movement. I know you have an audience to cater to, but if this is how you have to do it, I don't know what to say...

I also noticed that you have not taken down that blatantly false post about the election results and numbers. WWJD?

These are comments from folks on the facebook page:
Wow, that's pretty outlandish on the part of the woman. I am not surprised though. When people who are out of integrity are faced with those of us who are, the truth in their own conscience wells up inside of them and they just have to yell, scream and act out to squelch it so they can be "comfortable" again.

Another:
When one places no value on life, anything goes. I feel hurt for the obvious anger that young woman has because it will eat her up inside until she has nothing left unless she lets the Lord heal her and her heart. So many young women are victimized by planned parenthood that it is criminal.

and another:
While I believe women are responsible for the decision they make regarding abortion, this agency plays on the trauma these young women go through. Rather than helping them to find a way to save their babies, there is more money in convincing them that it is their choice and right to destroy a life. Unfortunately, my experience has been that these young women suffer emotionally for the rest of their lives when they make that choice.

I understand the religiouos aspect of the argument, but I'm of the opinion that neither religion nor government should play a role in a woman's choice to have a child or not. If we start trying to dictate behavior, we are no better than the religious nuts we are fighting against. Maybe the people out in front of that clinic should get a life of their own and not bother people or force their beliefs on them...

As someone who has participated in this kind of vigil (although ours was silent, and not in front of a Planned Parenthood clinic), I can say people do hurl these kinds of insults quite often. I have never heard the pro-life position referred to as a "ridiculous political ideelilology" before though.

Speaking of which, Matt, as someone who likes to make fun of the intelligence of others, you might want to spell check your comments.

This is not a solely "religiouos [sic]" argument. IMO, whether to abort the unborn has to do with natural rights (upon which our Declaration of Independence and Constitution are founded). Is an unborn human a "person"? If so, they have the right to life. If they are not, when to they become a person? There have been some who have said babies up to two or three years old do not have the right to life. Who decides?

The phrase "a woman's choice" is constantly shouted, but what about the choices of the unborn? Apparently, if you haven't managed to get out of the womb you are not allowed a choice.

Darn it! You're right, Bob. I misspelled a word and feel dumber for it--but I did get it right once, so...

Oddly, you criticized my spelling and then neglected to check your own, so now we're even? The way I see it is that if the fetus can't survive at two or three months--not even with medical help--then it is not a person. We can argue it all day, but it is not up to me to decide nor should anyone else.

Are you saying that all killing is wrong? What about the death penalty or war? How do we justify those? The unborn don't have a choice. A fetus can't think for itself. Shoot, I know plenty of adults who can't think for themselves.

It's a touchy subject for sure but I don't think men or the government should be involved AT ALL. I'm definitely a Goldwater Conservative when it comes to social issues. And I would disagree about the religious aspect. Far more so-called Christians are anti-abortion than non-Christians...
