There I am with Manager Tom Treblehorn of the Salem-Keizer Volcanoes. Once again we have won the Western Division of the Northwest League and head on to the Championship series starting Thursday.
No other team has won back to back to back Division championships nor League championships.
This could be an outstanding story. Keep watching.
As Public Address Announcer for all of these years, it is exciting to be a part of the team in my small way.
I have found the "kids" (the players) to be a great bunch this year as they are every year. Since this is Single A professional baseball, these guys are young and hungry to get to "The Show" and they are very kind and approachable people. Bring your kids to the ballpark this weekend and let them meet really nice gentlemen.

I'm waiting for a post about McCain's speech. Did you watch it? I thought it was awesome...talk about character and experience...it's in his blood and family line!!! I loved Sarah's speech too!! I am more excited to vote now!!!
I agree, Dawn. Sooooooo glad to hear just how pro-life McCain is and I love his veep choice! Yeah!

I already knew he was pro-life, what I wanted to know was his plans for the borders, the war in Iraq and Afghanistan, oil, energy, BLAST THE IDIOTIC LEFT ON "GLOBAL WARMING" and other fairly important issues.
I will take Sarah Palin for VP and eventually President!
Finally, the Volcano's lost the series and I was the only one that cheered, as I was much happier playing golf with Tammy and Dan last night along with my beautiful bride.
