Why do you have to vote for someone who is pro-choice if you don't believe in it? Why can't we call unite behind a pro-life candidate? I think its because there are other issues more important to Christians/pro-lifers than the murdering of children. We've grown too accepting of it. I'll gladly live off my pre-raise salary (per your other post) and forego nice vacations, and I'll happily pay more in taxes and more for health care, IF it would stop the murdering of innocent tiny unborn babies.

Now, I don't think God wants us to waste our time arguing about this. I think we're supposed to build one another up. So, I'm not going to argue with you about this. And thanks for not slamming me, so I would not have to boycott your blog for a day again. I know that tortured you. NOT!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-882109295181079525.post-69670049528386367532007-10-24T15:59:00.000-07:002007-10-24T15:59:00.000-07:00That would be a happy thought but not gonna happen...That would be a happy thought but not gonna happen.
Let me give you some more to think about since you WILL be giving the election to one considerably worse than the alternative I have proposed:
according to the Pro-Abortion group NARAL, "we are only one or two Supreme Court votes away from overturning Roe v. Wade".
Now, our next president will be most likely nominating the newest Supreme Court judge. So, I ask again, would you like Hillary to be doing that or a Republican who may not line up squarely with all you believe in? And before you say, "that Republican might vote in a pro-abortion judge", you have to look at the Big Picture. A Republican President will more than likely nominate a moderate to conservative judge for the simple reason as to turn the Court back to the right by one judge.
So you see, you would win no matter what.
Tammy, I respect your belief completely, I am adamantly against abortion, but I am also telling you in clear terms, if we do not unite behind whomever wins the Republican nomination, the end result will make you a very unhappy American.Bill's Waste of Airhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17584899641654370310noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-882109295181079525.post-75908791794074304162007-10-24T15:25:00.000-07:002007-10-24T15:25:00.000-07:00Bill,Of course she wasn't in those all meetings, b...Bill,
Of course she wasn't in those all meetings, but you can bet she drilled Bill on every little detail in the privacy of their bedroom.

As far as the other, no way in H. E. double hockey sticks I will ever vote for anyone who supports the murder of unborn babies. You have the right to disagree with me, but no circumstance will ever cause me to compromise my extreme conviction in this area. If all Christians and pro-lifers banded together on this issue, we could elect a pro-life president in 2008.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-882109295181079525.post-21550099266478740482007-10-24T10:14:00.000-07:002007-10-24T10:14:00.000-07:00Here is the problem:many Christian Conservatives w...Here is the problem:
many Christian Conservatives will as they always do, make their stand on one issue only: Abortion.
That is just fine, and probably Godly, but let's say a pro-abortion candidate wins the Republican nomination. Yet everything else he stands for is pretty close to our stand, do you vote for him or not vote or vote third party as James Dobson is starting to lean?
I stand firm on abortion, it is wrong, but having Hillary Clinton as president is MORE wrong.
If you make your stand on this one issue, you WILL be electing her.
That will be on your conscience not mine.
We Republicans must stand behind whomever is nominated no matter how hard it might be. I am not a Giuliani fan at all, but if he were to win, I WILL stand behind him. I am appalled at Dobson for taking a possible third party stance. He IS electing Hillary that way.
Now, as for Hillary's experience, Tammy those are all good things, but do you really think she was allowed into all the meetings that went on wherever the President went? Did she participate in every decision made? Learning by Osmosis is sometimes good, but to be leader of the Free World and most powerful nation in the World? Not enough.
I will give you, she does know the political "game", but not necessarily the real politics it requires.
Now, if Condeleeza Rice were to run, I would be all over that! She has the kind of foreign policy experience Hillary can't even come close to.Bill's Waste of Airhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17584899641654370310noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-882109295181079525.post-55489232025704828152007-10-24T09:43:00.000-07:002007-10-24T09:43:00.000-07:00I am not a fan of any candidate who supports the m...I am not a fan of any candidate who supports the murdering of unborn babies, so it hurts me to answer your question about Hillary's qualifications, because I feel like I am defending her a bit.

Hilary is an attorney, she graduated from Yale. She was politically active as First Lady of Arkansas. She was very politically active as the President's wife for two terms. She lived in the White House, traveled the globe with her husband for peace negotiations and hosted state dinners for incoming dignitaries. She learned a lot of inside scoop about how to play the game. She supported her husband through impeachment hearings, and she testified before the grand jury. Behind every good man is a good woman holding him up. I do think all her experience at her husband's side could help her understand the job she is faced with. If she becomes Commander and Chief, you know Bill will be right there helping her every step of the way.

All of her inside first hand experience has value, but does it make her more qualified than other candidates who have written more legislation than her? I don't know and I don't care. I won't be voting for her.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-882109295181079525.post-39891558492218465852007-10-23T16:22:00.000-07:002007-10-23T16:22:00.000-07:00According to the information that I've received re...According to the information that I've received regarding Mrs. Clinton, the only qualifications that would make her eligible for Commander in Chief is that she's drafted legislation. To a degree, she understands the "old boy" network and appears to be willing to play ball in that particular realm. Other than that, she's a foundationless, political chameleon who believes that government is the answer to our woes.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
